Our Story

Our background was initially working in a 24/7 rural general practice.

In 2013 Doctors Andrew Minett and Craig Campbell joined with Nurse Practitioner Rachel Hale to provide services four times weekly into 2 facilities in Hamilton with a 24/7 on call availability. That facility was struggling to access any GP care.

Over the next few years we were asked to extend those services into multiple sites small and large throughout the Waikato and beyond, with a staff of Drs and Nurse Practitioners.

We have stayed purely mobile with a cloud-based system and see the facilities as our practices, and the resident’s rooms as their homes. In effect, every resident gets a home visit whenever their needs dictate.

We try to engage with sector around changing patterns of care, with providers around their needs, while at the same time ensuring that our own organisation remains dynamic and supportive of its staff in a challenging environment.
